Spooky Soiree, the new version of Battlegrounds Mobile India, is now available as part of the BGMI 4.0 Update APK, which went live today, 11 September 2025. Krafton, the publisher of the popular battle royale game, has begun rolling out the update on Android devices.
How to install BGMI 4.0 APK?
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store app on your mobile device.
Step 2: Look for “BGMI” or “Battlegrounds Mobile India” in the search bar.
Step 3: Select the official BGMI app developed by KRAFTON, Inc.
Step 4: Click on the “Install” button. The app will start downloading and installing on your device. If you already have the game, it will display an update button.
Step 5: Launch the game. After the installation is finished, you will see a “Play” button. Tap it to open the game and start the in-game resource download.
Latest modes and features
The arsenal has been boosted with a brand-new mortar weapon, bringing devastating long-range firepower for greater tactical advantage. To enhance immersion even further, the game now features realistic reload mechanics and pistol animations.
Meanwhile, Erangel’s Lipovka town has been redesigned with new structures and areas to explore, offering players more strategic choices.

Ghostie: Someone who’s always there, lurking in the background, throughout the game.
Floating Balloon (Main Skill): Ghostie becomes a balloon that lifts the player, allowing them to fly around.
Guardian Shield (Main Skill): Ghostie becomes a large shield that can also be rammed into enemies to push them back.
Armourer (Passive Skill): Ghostie can now repair your armour. Upgrading the skill boosts the repair speed.
Ghost Helm (Passive Skill): Ghostie protects your head if you stay still for too long or if it’s under attack, reducing damage.
Scan (Passive Skill): Striking an enemy highlights all nearby enemies within range.
Boost (Passive Skill): Ghostie gives you a speed boost as you sprint.
Heal (Passive Skill): Ghostie will heal you and assist in rescuing teammates.
Prankster Ghost: Transform into a Prankster Ghost upon defeat. You may continue fighting until your energy is finished.
Bomb: Turn into a high-speed bomb that inflicts damage and pushes back all nearby players when it explodes.
Scan: Tag a player. For a short period, their location is visible to all.
Shield: Turn into a shield that absorbs damage.
