Former President Donald Trump was declared the winner of the 2024 election against Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, in what’s being called a historic comeback.
Trump secured 295 electoral votes as of Thursday morning while Harris sits at 226. Arizona and Nevada still have not been called. As final votes are being counted, President Joe Biden called Trump to congratulate him and invite him to the White House during the presidential transition period.
