Happy National Cat Day!
I’ll start this article by telling you that I don’t have any cats, but that’s not because I don’t love them. I’m just highly allergic! I would probably have several if they didn’t make my eyes swell shut. That being said, my allergies have never stopped me from petting a kitty when I see one, even though I end up paying for it later…
I had a couple of cats when I was younger, but George was my favorite. He was an orange tabby, and he had all sorts of weird habits. He played fetch, he licked the condensation off the windows, he slept directly on top of my head, and he would let us put a leash on him and take him on walks. I still have a soft spot for orange cats because of him!
Since today (October 29th) is National Cat Day, we asked listeners to send us photos of their feline friends and tell us a “fun fact” about them. Some of the facts are sweet, while others are just plain funny! Here are some of our favorites:
