Bollywood actress and BJP MP-elect Kangana Ranaut hit the headlines on Thursday evening when she was reportedly slapped by a CISF constable. The controversy unfolded at the Chandigarh airport when Kangana claimed a constable named Kulwinder Kaur slapped and verbally abused her during a security check. Videos from the airport saw Kaur, visibly agitated and explaining her actions, saying, “Kangana made a statement that farmers were protesting in Delhi because they were paid Rs 100 or Rs 200. At the time, my mother was one of the protesters.”
The actress later issued a statement that she was ok, while the CISF suspended the female constable and filed an FIR against her.
