Women’s apparel brand Twin Birds opened its 100th brick-and-mortar store on October 5. Located in Chennai’s Nungambakkam neighbourhood, the store bolsters the brand’s retail presence in Tamil Nadu.
“Hey girlies, we’re thrilled to invite you to the grand opening of our 100th store on October 5,” announced Twin Birds on Facebook. The store opened its doors to the public with a number of garments from Twin Birds’ new autumn festive collection which includes vibrant kurta sets along with its signature line of leggings and ‘saree shaper’ skirts.
“We are thrilled to share the news– our 100th store is set to open,” wrote Twin Birds’ head of sales and business development Prakash Palanisamy on Linkedin ahead of the lauch. “At Twin Birds, we have scaled to new heights, all thanks to our loyal customers and amazing team.”
Twin Birds also retails online through its direct to customer e-commerce store which has served over one lakh customers, according to its website. The e-commerce store has a segment for children’s wear along with its full women’s daily wear collection and also offers a cash on delivery payment option for orders placed online.
The brand’s main retail base is in South India and it also retails across the country as well as in the Middle East, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Singapore, India Retailing reported. Globally, Twin Birds’ clothing is available across more than 7,000 multi-brand retail outlets.
