Two goals and another key contribution for Liverpool from the touch of Diogo Jota. Especially his swift equaliser in the first half, just minutes after Jarell Quansah’s own goal opened the scoring for West Ham.
Here is Jota, speaking to Sky Sports after the final whistle:
💬 “The results say so (that it was comfortable) but the game was completely different. We scored a couple of goals towards the end when they were down to 10 men, but I think they made it hard for us.
“It was a good game in general and we’re just happy to go through.
“It’s important when you go down that you get that equaliser as quick as possible.”
