Denim and casual wear brand Levi’s has opened its largest store in the state of Kerala to date in Kochi. Located on the city’s bustling MG Road, the exclusive brand outlet measures 4,000 square feet.
“Launching the god’s own country’s largest Levi’s store at MG Road, Kochi,” wrote Levi Strauss & Co‘s head of business development in India Abhinav Agarwal on Linkedin, sharing images of the store. “This is our latest and largest offering to our consumers in the lovely Southern state of Kerala.”
The store houses Levi’s signature denim collection for men and women as well as casual western wear, accessories, and footwear. The brand has been focusing on widening its brick-and-mortar presence in the Indian market and launched two revamped ‘Icon’ stores in Mumbai last month. Levi’s also opened its largest store to date in India last year in Bengaluru, measuring 7,521 square feet.
Levi Strauss and Co was originally established in 1853 and is known for its blue denim jeans. Today, the business’ portfolio includes Levi’s as well as the labels Signature, Denizen, Dockers, and Beyond Yoga, according to its website. The business retails its products in over 110 countries worldwide with an omni-channel approach.
