Real Estate business K Raheja Realty plans to launch an omni-channel sales model for its mall business Infiniti Malls. The business plans to enable shoppers to pick up their online orders in the mall to tap into the growing power of e-commerce to drive mall footfall and sales.
“Our model is more omni-channel, where you can browse, click, and block,” said Infiniti Mall, Mumbai’s deputy general manager of marketing Gaurav Balani, India Retailing reported. “We want more customers to come to the mall and not end up simply delivering items.”
Several years ago, Infiniti Mall tested out an omni-channel approach but decided to put the initiative on hold, due in part to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. “We have started reworking on it and soon we will be able to announce it,” said Balani.
K Raheja Realty runs two malls in Mumbai which house a wide range of Indian and international fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. These include Tira, Zara, Nykaa, Bebe, Adidas, Only, Crocs, Aldo, Nautica, and Wrogn among others, according to its Facebook page.
Infiniti Mall, Andheri launched in 2005 and Infiniti Mall Malad became operational in 2011. The mall operator has already embraced online communications with its customers and launched its loyalty programme on messaging platform WhatsApp, where shoppers can upload their bills from the mall to earn rewards.
