The fireplace chat! Play the tape
Who decided to send Andrea home? The question fueled a lot of drama … and at least 10 minutes of the reunion.
The conversation between Serena, Liv, Leah and Kaylor played in full as they weighed sending Nicole or Andrea home, ultimately choosing Andrea.
The narrative that emerged on the show was that Leah conspired to send Andrea home because she was in a relationship with her first match, Rob. Is that really what happened? Not quite.
During the conversation, they weigh Nicole’s connections and the “right” way to play “Love Island.” Do you punish someone for finding love straight away, like Andrea did, or do you punish someone for playing the game, like Nicole did?
Leah, in the conversation, did accuse Andrea of not being here for the right reasons, such as wanting the prize money or brand deal. But she did say that if they sent Andrea home, Rob would “hate her forever.”
They decided to take a vote with their eyes closed. It appeared they voted for Andrea. They asked a producer for help. “This is on you guys,” the producer said.
“No answer is correct,” Liv said.
The tape sparked more conflict between cast members.
Aaron and Kaylor: ‘Not going well’
Things aren’t going well, according to Aaron.
They’re much worse, according to Kaylor.
At the start of their segment, Aaron owned up to lying about Kaylor and the nature of his relationship with Daniela.
Kaylor said this moment, at the reunion, was the first time he admitted to lying. “We had multiple calls and chats. Why didn’t you tell me?” she said.
Aaron said he was too afraid (actually, he said he didn’t have “the balls”) to tell her. Leah, eating popcorn, watched on.
“i can’t believe I wasted my entire f—-g summer on you Aaron,” she said. “I went into the villa feeling so confident. You beat me down, beat me down, beat me down and I left a different girl.”
The relationship changed after Kaylor actually watched the show and saw Casa Amor unfold.
Aaron said he was expecting more support from her after his grandfather died; instead, she went on a podcast. When he continued to say grief led to him not saying anything, she replied, “Don’t play that card.”
Casa Amor girls open up about their difficult position, online hate
The girls of Casa Amor opened up about their positions on the show. They formed connections with the OG boys, then clashed with the OG girls after returning to the villa.
“It’s hard to go in as a bombshell or as a Casa. Even us walking in after the recoupling … we understood it’s not easy to watch your guy walking in with someone else. That’s trash. We got that. But we are going in with all the same intentions that everyone else had,” said Daia, who had a relationship with Kordell.
Daia said she has experienced online hate since leaving the villa, and asked her co-stars to be mindful of what they share since it could lead to online hate.
“You’re cosigning your followers to drag the other person, and it’s not OK,” she said.
Leah addressed her followers directly. “I don’t want you to say anything negative on my behalf,” she said. “Even Rob, please, let’s spare the man.”
JaNa whips out receipts
Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots!
JaNa is taking a page — literally — from the Salt Lake City housewives when she whipped out printed pieces of papers to address Andrea’s comments about other islanders after she left the villa.
Kassy and Rob are friends
Kassy and Rob ended the show as a couple, but they aren’t any longer.
“We catch up and we send TikToks to each other. That’s all we do,” Kassy said.
Andrea addresses her videos
After leaving the villa, Andrea took to social media and shared what was on her mind in.
During “Love Island,” Andrea was eliminated by the OG girls, breaking up her relationship with Rob. Still teary, she said it was “hard” ending things with him.
After leaving, she went on TikTok and posted her unvarnished thoughts in videos she has since deleted.
Andrea said the videos came out of mixed emotions, combined with internet attacks.
“I wasn’t ever put on a platform where I was being attacked left and right,” she said.
She said social media was a way to cope. “I wanted people to know I genuinely liked (Rob),” she said.
“The main thing was, coming out of the villa, I was emotional in the way that I left. I was confused and hurt about a lot of things. Coming out, I was getting attacked for a lot of things that weren’t true. I was sad about being dumped. Maybe America will empathize,” she said.
She caught heat from other contestants, especially Leah and JaNa. Rob said the videos surprised him and weren’t reminiscent of the Andrea “he knew.”
Kendall and Nicole address where their relationship stands
Kendall and Nicole had a tense interaction at the reunion as they discussed their lives post “Love Island.”
“Something happened and I should’ve told Nicole the full truth of what happened,” Kendall said, starting the conversation.
Kendall said his world was “upside down” after the leak of a private video, and maintained that he’s “trying so hard” for their relationship.
Nicole said she still loves him, but that she’s frustrated by the aftermath of what happened. She said he lied to her about who else was in the video and when it was filmed. He admitted to the lie and apologized, saying he was too shocked to focus.
In addition to feeling like her trust was shattered, Nicole said she’s been taking heat for him. “You haven’t had my back since we’ve been out here. I’ve been taking all the heat for you. Not speaking about it to protect you,” she said. She felt neglected in the aftermath: “You only check on me when it’s relevant for you,” she said
The two seem to want to be in their relationship but feel there are a “lot of conversations to be had,” Nicole told Ariana.
“We’re still together,” Nicole said.
“All I want to do is mend the lie,” Kendall said.
“I was there for you because it’s awful what you went through but you weren’t honest with me about it,” she said.
2 more ‘Love Island’ couples made it official!
Leah and Miguel are a couple, and so are JaNa and Kenny. They’ve been a couple for six days, Kenny said.
Serena and Kordell give an update on their relationship
Kordell officially asked Serena to be his girlfriend, and posted the aftermath of the moment to social media. They confirmed, at the reunion, they are still happily together.
Seating order: Who’s sitting where?
Nothing is an accident — especially seating order on reality TV reunions. Before the Final Four made their debut, the rest of the cast gathered. Ariana Madix sat in the middle, with cast members flanking her on either side.
Top row, from left: Nigel, Cassidy, Connor, Daia, Hannah, Coye
Bottom row, from left: Catherine, Kassy, Andrea, TK, Rob, Ariana, Aaron, Kaylor, Liv, Sierra, Harrison
Afterward, the final four couples all came out together and hugged the cast, then took their seats.
Ariana Madix is in the host seat
This isn’t Ariana Madix’s first rodeo participating in a reality TV reunion. Looks like the “Vanderpump Rules” star is taking queues from longtime Bravo host Andy Cohen as she greets each cast member of “Love Island USA” Season Six.
So, which couples are still together?
Ah, isn’t that the question! After the finale, fans have been trying to parse the remaining couples.
Kordell and Serena are still together, and opened up about their “real and authentic” love story in an interview with TODAY.com.
Kenny and JaNa are still together, too, and are all over each others’ social media feeds. They also have their names in each others’ Instagram bios, alongside a heart.
The other couples’ relationship statuses are less clear.
Aaron and Kaylor’s relationship status is less clear. After watching the Casa Amor episodes, and seeing Aaron’s relationship with Daniela in full, Kaylor said her perspective on their relationship changed.
“We’ve been talking, and I think he knows how I feel about everything,” Kaylor said on the BFFs Pod. “I feel like I want to take a step back, just because now we are in the real world and I am seeing everything. … I just want to take things really slow. But I don’t want to end things because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real.”
Rob arrives to the reunion in a cowboy hat … of course
One of the first images out of the “Love Island USA” reunion is the cast walking past crowds of fans. Rob Rausch, one of the OG boys, strutted by in a cowboy hat, perhaps channeling Glen Powell in “Twisters.”
Live from the ‘Love Island USA’ red carpet!
The “Love Island” reunion was filmed on Aug. 14. The self-titled group called the “PPG,” short for Powerpuff Girls, posted together — JaNa in gray, Serena in white and Leah in a floral black.
JaNa also posed with her match from the show, Kenny.
The rest of the cast posed solo.
The ‘Love Island’ cast drums up anticipation on social media
As the reunion drew closer, the cast of “Love Island” kept the anticipation high.
Leah, minutes before it started, posted a photo of her in her reunion dress and the words “and scene” to her Instagram story.
Nicole wrote that she was “staying comfortable” for the reunion.
Kenny wrote, “Almost that time,” while resharing Peacock’s message.
The show asks fans to make reunion experience ‘kind and positive’

“The cast are all part of the ‘Love Island’ fam now, and while we love your passion for them, we ask that you always choose to be kind. Let’s lift them up and spread the love. Enjoy the reunion, and see you in Fiji next summer!” read a post on X, also shared to Instagram.
