The reigning Spanish LaLiga champion continues its tune-up schedule in advance of the 2024-’25 season with a matchup against Chelsea, then plays Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday, Aug. 14, before opening its regular season with an Aug. 25 date with Real Valladolid at Santiago Bernabéu.

Chelsea is going off as a slight favorite (+125) to defeat Real Madrid in exhibition play. A sixth-place finisher in the English Premier League last season, Chelsea comes off a 4-2 loss to Manchester City in its most recent club friendly and is 1-1-2 and four friendlies thus far. The club is set to open the 2024-’25 season on Aug. 18 against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in London.
