The Indian cricket team will be felicitated by the BCCI at the Wankhede Stadium in a programme that is scheduled to start at 7 PM after an open-top bus T20 World Cup trophy parade.
The trophy parade is scheduled to take place from Nariman Point in South Mumbai to the Wankhede Stadium from 5 to 7 PM.

Mumbai Cricket Association secretary Ajinkya Naik has confirmed that the entry for fans at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday evening will be free on a first come first serve basis. Reportedly, the entry will start at 4 PM and will be closed by 6 PM.

“MCA has made preparations for the public. Under the guidance of Mumbai Police and BCCI, we are going to give free entry to the public on first come first preference from Gate 2, 3, 4 and University side gate… We had a meeting with Mumbai Police yesterday. MCA has kept the maximum police force. It is a proud moment for MCA and the country and we are very excited to welcome the Indian team today…,” Naik said.
The fans will be offered entry from Gate 2, 3, 4, and the University side gate.
During the BCCI event, the players, support staff, and selectors will be felicitated with prize money of Rs 125 crore.
