Deepika Padukone recently revealed an interesting aspect of the shooting for her much-anticipated film, Kalki 2898 – AD. The actress revealed that her co-star Prabhas would feed everyone “from his heart” and that it became something many would look forward to on the set. In a now-viral video, mom-to-be Deepika can be heard saying, “Actually, I have become like this because of all the food he has fed me.” She further stated that he would bring food to set every day, “And it got to a point where there was not just food coming from home, there was a full catering service… So the highlight of the day almost became what Prabhas was feeding everyone… And those, who know him well, know he feeds from the heart,” she said.

This is not the only instance of Prabhas treating his co-stars with delicious and wholesome food. In 2022, Amitabh Bachchan was working alongside the star and Deepika on the then tentatively titled film, Project K. It would go on to be named Kalki 2898 – AD. Amitabh Bachchan also got to experience Prabhas’ hospitable side back then. The veteran actor took to Twitter (now X) to praise his gesture with poetic words. He wrote, “‘Bahubali’ Prabhas .. your generosity is beyond measure .. you bring me home-cooked food, beyond delicious .. you send me quantity beyond measure .. could have fed an Army .. the special cookies .. beyond scrumptious… And your compliments beyond digestible.”

Prabhas had also once sent food to his Salaar co-star Shruti Haasan. Glimpses of the mouth-watering spread were shared on her Instagram and the actress said “Prabhas always sends the most epic food”.
