Traditional wear designer Richa Ahluwalia has opened a flagship store in New Delhi’s Defence Colony. The brick-and-mortar store offers a wide range of bridal and occasion wear for women as well as traditional styles for men.
“Experience the allure yourself – visit us at our newly opened flagship store in Defence Colony,” announced Richa Ahluwalia on Facebook. Inside the store, shoppers can browse an array of bridal sarees and lehengas in rich red hues with ornate gold embellishments. Gowns and kurta sets also feature while the men’s segment focuses on detailed sherwanis and other classic ethnic wear silhouettes.
“I am thrilled to unveil our flagship store in Defence Colony, which will redefine the way bridal fashion is perceived in the city,” said eponymous designer Richa Ahluwalia, India Retailing reported. “This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our brand, and I look forward to welcoming patrons to experience the epitome of luxury and elegance.”
Following the launch in New Delhi, the brand is keen to continue to expand offline to connect with shoppers in new cities. The brand describes itself as a couture house and specialises in handloom textiles, hand crafting each garment in its collection with its team of artisans, according to its website.
