Social media creator asks Pakistani man to review Dhurandhar 2
A social media video featuring a Pakistani man’s review of Dhurandhar has drawn attention online because it offers a blunt take on one of the film’s most talked-about themes.Shared by digital creator Rohan Bhatia, the video begins with the text, “I asked a Pakistani about Dhurandhar.” In the clip, the man says he found the film a bit overrated. He also reacts to the viral idea that someone could control Lyari, Karachi, and then all of Pakistan, saying the storyline does not really match the way power works in the country.He adds, “For some context, my family was originally from Lyari. There was and is some gang violence there. But, it’s just like you know between two neighbourhood gangs.” His comment suggests that while Lyari has had real violence, he sees the film’s portrayal as more dramatic than everyday reality.A woman beside him also questions some of the film’s wider dramatic choices, including the idea of a minister’s daughter walking through Lyari at night in Western clothes and the character of Yalina Jamali leaving a luxurious life to live with Hamza Ali Mazari.

Even so, the pair does not dismiss the film completely. They reportedly said they liked the cinematography and enjoyed the music, which gave the review a balanced tone instead of a purely negative one.
